A seamless blend of natural materials and thoughtful design for enhanced learning.
This project involved the design and delivery of a 500m² single-storey extension, providing two new Special Educational Needs (SEN) classrooms complete with internal and external play areas, a sensory garden, and supporting ancillary accommodation. The extension features charred larch cladding on a timber frame construction, carefully detailed to create a seamless architectural connection between the new modular classroom units and the existing main school building. The design prioritises inclusivity, natural materials, and a calm, nurturing environment to enhance the learning experience for all pupils.
