Carbon Neutral Forest

The first tree has been planted in, what will become, a carbon neutral forest of trees on lands secured by the practice to the north of Dundalk. The forest will offset against things we have worked to cut down on, but must do to carry out our role, such as printing and travel. This measure follows a number of changes we are making to how the business contributes to combating climate change. For example, new solar panels on the roof of our Dundalk office are now providing clean electricity to the building and the grid. A number of years ago we implemented a stack ventilation strategy which has reduced our use of air conditioning significantly. We are continuously reviewing our processes for ways combat carbon, and know that this is another big step towards conducting our business in a carbon neutral manner.
