Creating an environment to cultivate innovation was the central concept for this interior fit-out for this J&J software development hub. By developing a deep understanding of the way J&J work, we designed a space which met colleagues needs in terms of flexibility, social interactions, privacy, stimulation and comfort. The project included a world first in movable whiteboard walls to enable coding teams to quickly expand and contract as required. We took this blank canvas building and filled it with the powerful personality of J&J. Externally, the sustainable anthracite grey terracotta-panelled facade is complimented with colourful, adjustable window blinds and totem signage which have added a distinctly attractive and lively character to the building, hinting at the magic unfolding within.
