New Buildings

The concept behind the proposal for the new Music Center in Northern Taipei was to provide a building that differed from the existing architecture within the city of Taipei. The buildings will be designed around a public park, which will become the centre piece of the development providing vibrancy to the city with the space used for music festivals but also green infrasturcture to the already highly developed city.

The form was achieved through the freedom of music and arts, which will aid in the encouragement of music and perfomance creation, abling the perfomance of talents and flair. The principal space design comprises of an indoor performing hall with 4500-6000 seat, an outdoor performing space with 15000 standing seats, exhibition space for reputed musicians, a digital library, a medium and small indoor exhibition and performing live house, industrial communities and incubation space.
