The scheme consisted of a Horse and Greyhound Racing Stadium and all weather track with all associated stables, arenas, enclosures and other facilities. To financially support the development a Housing project consisting of 224 houses and Apartments were constructed and planning permission was achieved for a 280 room hotel which has not been constructed.
